Miranda Brooke Williamson, 18, of Oak Park, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 13, at 11 a.m. at Oak Park Church of God with Pastor Aaron Moncrief officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Park City Cemetery. The family received friends Tuesday, March 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Powell, Terry Powell, Thomas Williamson, Blake Walker, Alvin Williamson, Jr. and Neal Rogers.

Brooke was born March 19, 2005, to Billy Williamson and Kimberly Kay Rogers Williamson. She was a senior at Swainsboro High School and would have graduated with the class of 2024. Brooke was a member of Oak Park Church of God where she served doing many outreaches along beside her church family. She also sang on the Praise Team. To know Brooke was to love her. Her personality was hers alone. Brooke loved art and fishing with her brothers. She worked at The Stockyard in Swainsboro as a server and had many regulars who came in and requested her for their table. Brooke will be remembered for her strong will and fierce soul. She was the baby of her parents’ children. Miss Williamson is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Thomas Rogers; and paternal grandfathers, Alvin Williamson, Sr. and Norman Miller.

Miss Williamson is survived by her parents, Billy and Kim Williamson of Oak Park; brothers, Blake Walker and Thomas Williamson (Topanga Berry); sister, Madison Williamson (Dillon Miller); niece, Isabella Miller, all of Oak Park; maternal grandmother, Katie Rogers of Soperton; paternal grandmother, Patsy Miller of Soperton; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro is in charge of arrangements.
