February 15, at 6 p.m. is opening game of baseball for Swainsboro Tigers vs Vidalia. CoachAldridge and Coach James will throw out the first pitch around 5:45 p.m. and all former players/batgirls will be recognized on the field. The game is tagged “One More Time” due to Coach Aldridge and Coach James being Georgia Dugout Club Hall of Famers and they have always been the best of friends and rivals. Coach Aldridge encourages all alumni/former players/batgirls to attend and wants to name a few that he knows will be there: Mark Stroud, Jeff Newsome, Kevin Blizzard, Rusty Brown, Mitch Stafford, Wade Williams, Greg Waters, Michael Bender, John Davis, Jess Anderson, Tyler Womack, Lisa Parham, Lori Bond, Tabitha Downer, Robin Ingram, Heather Williamson and Haley Blackwell. Lisa Parham and Lori Bond will sing the National Anthem. Plan to arrive early and visit with former teammates.
