Elder Patricia Ann Worthen Dukes, age 65, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at East Georgia Regional Memorial Hospital in Statesboro after an extended illness. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, March 23, at 3 p.m. at the Swainsboro City Auditorium with Evangelist Alex Worthen presiding and Pastors Frank and Leola O’Neal officiating. Interment followed in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

Patricia was born December 7, 1958, in Swainsboro, to the late Albert and Juanita B. Worthen. She attended Emanuel County Schools and attended Swainsboro Technical College where she earned degrees in Early Childhood Education and Cosmetology. Patricia was employed by the Emanuel County Board of Education for 37 years. She was joined into holy matrimony on July 9, 1999, to Archie Dukes. Mrs. Dukes is preceded in death by her father; daughter, Laqueta E. Turner; and sisters, Sarah Worthen and Aretha Worthen.

Mrs. Dukes leaves to cherish her memories with her mother; husband; sons, Patrick Turner of Jacksonville, FL, Quintin Dukes (Katrisha) of Swainsboro and Bernard Dukes of Dublin; seven grandchildren; one brother, three sisters; special friends; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
