The Twin City Lions Club recently held their monthly lunch meeting at the Lions Clubhouse in Twin City. The delicious meal was provided by All the Fixin’s from their Twin City location. Lion John Bussell invited Emanuel County Commissioner Jim Sherrod to be the guest speaker. Commissioner Sherrod updated the members on many areas of county business including the millage rate, the new county building being built on West Moring St. in Swainsboro, changes to the Mitchell Building and renovations to the John C. Coleman Hotel in downtown Swainsboro and may other areas. “We appreciate Mr. Sherrod and all our county commissioners for serving the citizens of Emanuel County,” said club member Brandon Jones.
