Sherrod, Thien to exchange vows

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sherrod of Midville proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Brittany Sarah Sherrod to Jacob Daniel Thien, son of Linda Thien of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Joseph Thien of Nashville, Tennessee.

The bride-elect is a 2013 honor graduate of Emanuel County Institute and a 2017 graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia. Brittany is currently employed with American Airlines as a flight attendant in Dallas, Texas. Miss Sherrod is the granddaughter of Judy Chapman and the late Robert Chapman of Swainsboro, the late Johnny Ray Brinson of Swainsboro, and Helen Sherrod and the late James Arthur Sherrod Sr. of Midville.

The future groom is a 2014 honor graduate of Edmonson County High in Brownsville, Kentucky and a 2017 graduate of ATP Flight School. Jacob is employed with American Airlines as a pilot in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Thien is the grandson of Connie Patterson and the late Larry Patterson of Glasgow, Kentucky, the late Henry Joseph (Joe) Thien of Glasgow, Kentucky, and the late Dorothy Prock and Howard Prock of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The wedding is planned for January 17, 2025 with a reception to follow. Formal invitations will be sent at a later date.
