Swainsboro High School students Bo Brown, Kylee Farley, and Grayson Brassell showcased their musical talents with outstanding performances at the Georgia Music Educators Association (GMEA) District 10 Honor Bands.

After a rigorous audition process in December, where they competed against hundreds of students from multiple school districts, all three musicians earned high placements in their respective honor bands. Their dedication and hard work culminated in an exceptional performance on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at The Maxwell Theatre on the campus of Augusta University.

With only twelve hours of rehearsal time spread over three days, these talented students demonstrated their musical excellence:

Bo Brown earned the highest placement among trumpet players in the 11th-12th grade band.

Grayson Brassell secured the second-highest trumpet placement in the 9th-10th grade band.

Kylee Farley ranked as the 6th best trombone player in the 11th-12th grade band.

Their achievements reflect not only their dedication but also the strength of Swainsboro High School’s music program. Congratulations to Bo, Kylee, and Grayson for their remarkable accomplishments!
