Skunk Brigade attends Annual GASSAR Banquet's in Atlanta

Members of the Skunk Brigade traveled to Atlanta to attend the Annual Georgia Society Sons of the American Revolution Board of Management Banquet on Friday and Saturday, January 31 and February 1, 2025. They attended the 250th Anniversary Program, South Atlantic District Meeting and the Member Awards Banquet on Friday and on Saturday they attended the Memorial Service, The Winter Board of Managers Meeting, the Annual Meeting (elections), the Chapter and Youth Awards Banquet and the Installation of 2025 Officers and the Installation of the 2025 Georgia Society President Bill Floyd, Jr. Awards given out during the two banquets were: the “Silver Henry Knox Medal”, to Richard Lee Herron, President of the Brier Creek Chapter in Screven County; State Americanism Chapters of Excellence to Wiregrass Chapter; State President General Chapter of Distinction, to Four Rivers Chapter, Patrick Carr Rangers Chapter and the Wiregrass Chapter; Education Outreach Streamer to Brier Creek Chapter and the Wiregrass Chapter; Distinguished Chapter Award to Four Rivers Patriots, Mill Creek Chapter and the Wiregrass Chapter; Membership Retention Award to Four Rivers Patriots Chapter, Mill Creek Chapter and the Patrick Carr Rangers Chapter; and the BG Robert L. Scott, Jr. Veterans Awards to the Patrick Carr Rangers Chapter for chapters with 1-24 members.
