On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, Johnny Tapley, local Chief Coordinator for Emanuel County Wreaths Across America spoke to the Swainsboro Exchange Club. He reported that this year Wreaths Across America will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Tapley also spoke about various projects that the Veterans of the Library have supported the past three years. A $500 donation was presented to Tapley in support of Emanuel County WAA.
