TCE Jr. Beta Club competes at State Convention

The TCE Jr. BETA Club recently competed at the State BETA Competition in Savannah. Many TCE students brought home awards. Several placed in the top five in the state, which qualifies them to compete at the national level. Nationals will be held over summer break. The following students placed at state:

1st place: Living Literature – Captain Grey Blackburn; Mixed Media – Izzy May; Premier Performers – Anna Caroline Frye and Joleigh Coxwell; Musicology – Chloe Best, Jayceon Williamson, Kabrie Mixon, Violet Lai-Tyam and Audrey Tucker; 2nd place: Digital Portfolio – Captain Anna Caroline Frye; Performing Arts – Anna Caroline Frye and Joleigh Coxwell; Speech – Chloe Best; 3rd place: Songfest – Captain Ella Jo Hooks; 3-Dimensional Design – Captain Hunter Gamiza; Fiber Arts – Tanner Mitchell; Woodworking – Brooks Hall; 4th place: Service Learning – Captain Natalie Bunn; Sculpture – Ava Underwood; Marketing and Communication – Hudson Ware, Ezekiel Kearney, Layla Yepe and Jorge Ramos-Avalos; 5th place: 2 Dimensional Design – Captain Layla Hampton; Poetry – Charla Fields; Robotics – Allie Woodward, Brayden Telgen, Jayce Juarez-Aragon, Zane Robertson, Violet Lai-Tyam, Reese McNeely and Declan Spence; Performing Arts Large Group – Chloe Best, Anna Caroline Frye, Mila Hodges, Nora Johnson, Bridgette Lopez Munoz, Izzy May, Kabreigh Mixon, Ezekiel Pague, Addi Rich, Arieonnah Seafus, Koda Still-Williams, Audrey Tucker, Alli Woodward, Leyla Yepe, Hudson Ware, Hudson Anderson, Zane Robertson and Brayden Telgen.
