Venard Beasley, age 79, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026. A Celebration of Life was held Wednesday, July 8, at 11 a.m. at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Chad Beasley officiating and Pastor Delmus Mosley presiding.
Venard was born February 13, 1947, in Emanuel County, to the late Authur T. Beasley and Mollie L. Beasley. He was a devoted family man who treasured every opportunity to gather with his loved ones, enjoying family celebrations and special occasions. He loved fishing and hunting and was always ready for his next outdoor adventure. Venard’s warm spirit and genuine joy in being surrounded by those who loved will be remembered by all who knew him. Mr. Beasley is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; one sister; two sisters-in-law; and one brother-in-law.
Mr. Beasley leaves to cherish his memories with his children, Donna Green of Sumter, SC, Sarena George (Joseph Modriskey) of Miramar, FL, Curtis Whigha, of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Tyrone Patterson of Killeen, TX; brother, Charles (Ivonia) Beasley; sisters, Arlinda Jones, Debra Beasley Donnette (Robert) Turner and Donna (John) Byrd; 12 grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
