Family Connection is happy to report another great week of participation in their Summer Scavenger Hunt for Books. The Clues were clever, but not too clever, to keep our “hunters” from finding their new books at the Swainsboro or Twin City Branch of Durden Bank. The staff at both branches were eager to welcome the families and give them their books and encourage the students to read over the summer. This week, 17 new families were added to the hunt, bringing our total to 80 so far for the eight-week project. Families can join at any time. Remember to find the clues Monday-Wednesday on Emanuel County Family Connection or Franklin Memorial Library Facebook pages, then follow those clues to the secret location on Thursday.
Thank you to Durden Bank, who continues to be supporters of Family Connection and our Literacy work!
