Wincore Window Company, LLC (“Wincore”) headquartered in Parkersburg, WV with operating facilities in Parkersburg and Swainsboro, GA announces that it has been acquired by Fernweh

Group LLC and its affiliates (collectively, “Fernweh”). Financial terms were not disclosed. Wincore was represented by Goodwin Procter LLP and Fernweh was represented by DLA.

Wincore is a manufacturer of vinyl windows, impact windows, fiberglass entry doors, and sliding patio doors primarily for the residential market. Wincore was formed in 2007 by a cross-functional group of individual industry veterans as well as two privately-held investment groups. Over its 17- year operating history, Wincore’s focus has been centered on a “customer first” sales and marketing approach backed by high-quality manufacturing and delivery capabilities. Through several sales channels, primarily distribution and dealer direct, and a long-term repeat customer base, Wincore has grown from a start-up, surviving the significant economic downturn of 2008- 2009, to become a major player in the window and door industry.

Brian Standley, President of Wincore, sees this as a great opportunity for Wincore. “This

transaction provides us an opportunity to honor the efforts of those that founded Wincore 17 years ago. Without their collective expertise and willingness to take a risk, Wincore would not be what it is today. In addition, it allows us and each of our dedicated employees to continue to provide our customers with great products and service. We are excited to partner with the team at Fernweh to make a great company even better in the coming years.”

Nick Santhanam, CEO at Fernweh Group, added “we are excited to partner with the talented management team at Wincore, whose vision and leadership have driven the company’s success to date. Together, we look forward to building on this strong foundation, expanding the business and unlocking its full potential in the years ahead.”

For Wincore customers, vendors, and employees, this change in ownership is and will remain seamless as all employees and senior management remain with the company and will be supported by Fernweh’s operational partners to maximize the Wincore brand and product offerings. Wincore senior management will also be equity owners alongside Fernweh.

Russ Tracewell, Executive VP of Sales and Marketing for Wincore added, “With Wincore entering its 18th year, we are excited to partner with the Fernweh Group and look forward to their expertise and partnership driving Wincore’s vision of growth and providing an excellent environment for all our committed associates that make Wincore what it is today. This allows us to stand by our core

values of customer service, quality products, and people-first, which has been our mission since day one, and the way it should be.”
