The clues for the second week of the Scavenger Hunt for Books led to Southern Gents Hair Salon. Owner, Kayla Vaughn, and her friendly staff welcomed each of the eager book hunters and gave them great new books and stickers for their passport books. The staff enjoyed the day as much as the kids.
Families can join the hunt any time during this eight-week project. Check the clues on the Emanuel County Family Connection Facebook page Monday – Wednesday to find out what business will be giving out the books on Thursday of that week. Children up to 5th grade may participate.
