Etheldra K. Miller, age 94, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024. A Celebration of Life was held Monday, November 18, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Philip Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James Love officiating. Etheldra was born March 29, 1930, in Opelika, Alabama. She graduated from East Street High School and pursued higher education at Alabama A&M University in Normal, AL. Etheldra dedicated her professional life to Emanuel County School System where her contribution left a lasting impact. She was a lifelong member of St. Philip Missionary Baptist Church and held ties with Bethel AME Church in Opelika, AL. Known for her diminutive stature and boundless energy, Etheldra was constantly involved in community service and various activities. She was an avid crossword puzzler, enjoyed working with computers, and devoted much of her time volunteering, always striving to assist those in need. Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her loving husband, Earlie Miller; and son, Wayne Earle Miller. Mrs. Miller is survived by her son, Ronald Miller; daughter, Deborah Miller; grandson, Jamal Earl Miller (Mary); granddaughter, Amanda Miller Littlejohn (Marc); five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; cousin, Betty Clark Heard; goddaughters, Cynthia Doyle McWilliams and Valarie Doyle Wilson.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was incahrge of arrangements.
