Patricia “Pat” Coleman Lincoln, age 80, of Swainsboro, passed away, Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Piedmont Hospital in Augusta. A memorial service was held Saturday, June 27, at 4 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Swainsboro with Reverends Jack Whitehead and Casey Shaw officiating. Family received friends from 3 to 4 p.m. prior to the memorial service.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the Women on Mission, Tuesday Morning Prayer Group, FBC Care Ministry, and the Fidelis Sunday School Class.

Pat was born July 26, 1945, in Oak Park, to the late Lee Coleman and Thelma Williamson Coleman. She was a kind and humble woman who found joy in the simple things in life. Pat loved spending time in her garden, tending to her flowers, and cooking for those she loved. Her famous chocolate delight was a favorite among family and friends.

Pat had a true servant’s heart and never missed an opportunity to care for others. She consistently visited the sick, checked on those who were homebound, and was always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a kind word. Her faith guided the way she lived each day. Pat was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Swainsboro, where she served as President of Women on Mission and was a member of the Tuesday Morning Prayer Group, the FBC Care Ministry, and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She served as an administrative assistant at Fresenius Medical Care for many years, a position she truly loved. Pat considered it a privilege to work alongside her coworkers while serving patients and their families. Above all, Pat cherished her family and friends. She lived a life marked by kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. Her gentle spirit and caring heart will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Mrs. Lincoln is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leroy Coleman; and half-sisters, Virginia Humphries and Bonnie Reynolds.

Survivors include her husband, Lanny Edwin Lincoln; daughter, Lisa Hooks; nephew, Jerry Coleman (Rachel); great-nephew, Ryan Coleman (Miranda); great-niece, Reagan Coleman; beloved pet, Mollie; and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: First Baptist Church of Swainsboro Benevolence Committee or Care Ministry, 240 W. Main St., Swainsboro, GA 30401.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
