Mrs. Elease Wilkes Hudson passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, after an extended illness. A private visitation and graveside service was held Sunday, February 2, at the Her-rington Cemetery in Covena.
Elease was born June 19, 1938. Mrs. Hudson is preceded in death by her parents, Henry As-born Wilkes and Elsie Wilkes; infant sister, Evelyn; and brother, Gerald Wilkes.
Survivors include two adopted daughters, Lisa Anderson (Marlon) of Bartow and Crystal Moore (Jason) of Lyons; sons, Gene Glover and Jimmy Glover, both of Dublin; daughter, Connie Smith; granddaughter, Stephanie Smith Phipps of Swainsboro; great-grandson, Mitchell Phipps, all of Swainsboro.
Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors was in charge of arrangements.
