Franklin Memorial Library and Veterans at the Library to sponsor bicycle giveaway

Franklin Memorial Library is excited to partner with Veterans at the Library for a special Bicycle Giveaway designed to encourage children to keep reading this summer. Children ages 6–12 can earn one entry into the drawing by checking out and reading five library books. After completing the five books, participants may visit the library to enter the drawing. Please note that reading five books earns one entry only. This giveaway is separate from the library’s Summer Reading Program, but the books read may count toward both programs. While the reading requirement can be used for each, the prizes are sponsored by different organizations and awarded separately. The bicycle giveaway winners will be announced on Facebook on July 23, 2026, and winners must be present to receive their bicycle. Franklin Memorial Library extends its sincere appreciation to the Veterans at the Library for their generosity and commitment to encouraging literacy among the children of our community.
