Imogene was born on November 12, 1945, in Swainsboro, to the late Willie Earnest McArthur (W.E.) and Louella Douglas McArthur. Her hobbies were many, including making grapevine wreaths, painting, writing poems, drawing pictures, working in the yard and trying to be kind to all she met. Imogene enjoyed sitting on her front porch and talking to friends and neighbors. As a young lady, her family always came first. Mrs. Bramlitt was a believer in Christ Jesus and prayed constantly. She was also a member of the United Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Bramlitt is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 42 years, James W. Bramlitt; son, Timothy W. Bramlitt; brothers, Winfred Clifford Grant, Charles W. Grant, Douglas Grant and Ray McArthur.

Mrs. Bramlitt is survived by her son, James M. Bramlitt (Terry) of Statesboro; grandson, Zach H. Bramlitt of Summertown; great-grandsons, Keaton Bramlitt and Casey Bramlitt; sister, Cheryl Wheeler of Swainsboro; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to all of the medical staff personal who had a part in taking care of Mrs. Imogene.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
