Mae Ola Williams Coppock, 73

Mae Ola Williams Coppock, age 73, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2026, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. A Celebration of Life was held Saturday, June 13, at 2 p.m. at St. Philip Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Robert Fullwood officiating. Interment followed in Stillmore City Cemetery.

Mae Ola was born September 25, 1952, in Emanuel County, to the late John and Essie Williams. She attended Emanuel County public schools. Mae Ola accepted Christ at an early age and joined the McLeod Baptist Church where she sang in the choir for a couple of years. She served as missionary and Mother of the church until her passing. Mae Ola loved her family, friends and church family. She adored her son and grandchildren and longed for God’s word. Mrs. Coppock is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clay Coppock; special friend, Frank (Sonny) Brown; one grandson, Tishaun Shaquez Williams; one sister and one brother; and a niece.

Mrs. Coppock leaves to cherish her memories with her son, Tony Williams of Swainsboro; two Godchildren; three bonus children; two sisters and three brothers; dedicated niece; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
