New U.S. Flags posted at the Veterans & 1st Responders Memorial Park

A special service was held Tuesday, July 28, at 9 a.m. at the Veterans & 1st Responders Memorial Park for the five U.S. Service members who have died in the Iran Conflict. Those service members are CMDR Gabriel Edwards, USN, Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, USA, 1Lt. Tyler J. Feehan, USA, Sgt. Angel S. Rampersad, USA and Sgt. Michael E. Swinton, USA. These five service members make 45 U.S. Flags that the Veterans at the Library are flying at the park since August 2021 when they posted the 13 U.S. Flags for those service members who were killed at Abbey Gate in Afghanistan. A prayer was said, comments were made, a military salute was given, and a closing prayer was said. Thanks for their service.
