Removing political signs is illegal

It has been brought to The Forest-Blade’s attention that political signs are being removed by individuals who do not have the authority to do so. This is a crime. If you are caught removing a political sign that is not on your property, you can be charged with ‘Theft by Taking’.

Candidates remember…no political sign can legally be placed on the right-of-way of county or state highways. This is also illegal.
