Tishaun Shaquez Williams, Jr., age 8, gained his angel wings on Monday, September 7, 2026. A Homecoming Celebration was held Sunday, September 13, at 3 p.m. at St. Philip Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Armstrong officiating and Pastor Larry Sherrod presiding.

Tishaun, affectionately known at “TJ”, was born May 29, 2018, in Savannah, to Victoria Wilcher and the late Tishaun Williams, Sr. From the moment he entered into this world, his bright smile, loving spirit and joyful personality touched the hearts of his family and friends. TJ was a dedicated second grade student at Swainsboro Primary School. He enjoyed going to school and looked forward to spending time with his classmates, teachers and school staff. TJ was a beloved student who made an impression of the people around him. He was a precious child who brought love, laughter and a happiness into the lives of his family and everyone who knew him. TJ will be remembered for his beautiful smile, his playful personality, his love for dancing and the happiness he shared so freely. The memories created during his eight years will be cherished forever and will remain a lasting reminder of the wonderful little boy he was. TJ is preceded in death by his father; great-grandmother, Mae Ola Williams; and uncle, Deontre Mincey.

TJ leaves his everlasting memories with his mother; siblings, Tailyn and Tahj; maternal and paternal grandparents; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
